$OUTH $IDE RENAISSANCE

Ave $wank is a long time Georgia resident who first fell in love with creating music when he learned to play the alto saxophone. He later picked up the guitar, but it wasn’t until his sophomore year of college that he started experimenting with rapping and recording with CAE$AR Reigns.

 

Amidst studying psychology, $wank struggled with his own mental state and suppressed emotions.  Through recording, he found the will to live and began to give autobiographical accounts of the most painful moments of his life.  

 

$wank describes his music as “the dark thoughts I don't like to talk about, emotions I keep to myself” and often finds that he is “just going off on tangents of raw emotion and what's inside my head.”

 

$wank hopes for his music to reach the brokenhearted and potentially serve as a therapeutic outlet for his fans.
